I have another video from Cebu City to upload, but i have not made it up yet so thought i would upload this video first of the public market in Iligan City, and i would say this was the best market we have here, and there are many bargains when it comes to fish, meat and vegetables to be got here, and as you can see all the stuff here is very fresh, so fresh one of the fish actually winked at me lol... They also have a livestock part to this market and i intend to do a video of it at some time in the future...
Mindanao is the second largest and easternmost island in the Philippines. It is also the name of one of the three island groups in the country, which consists of the island of Mindanao and smaller surrounding islands. The other two are Luzon and the Visayas. The island of Mindanao is called The Land of Promise. Mindanao is the only area of the Philippines with a significant Muslim presence. A guerrilla war is ongoing on the islands.

Cotabato City, Maguindanao and the surrounding area is known for a lot of negative things... Now... I have to be realistic. If you are a foreign national you need to not only be educated on your surroundings in this part of Mindanao, but I strongly suggest (in fact you really must have connections, please don't put yourself at risk) you only go to Cotabato or Maguindanao if you are with local people who know the area and who you really trust. As beautiful as Cotabato and Maguindanao can be... there are also unfortunately some areas of instability and people who do bad things. But... That certainly doesn't mean that there are not a lot of SUPER GOOD PEOPLE and things to experience and appreciate! Yup, I completely understand why Cotabateno's are proud to call this area of the Philippin...

This video does not show all parts of the city. Pontianak and Zamboanga City are developing cities in Indonesia and the Philippines. Both are the largest cities and economic centers in the western islands of Kalimantan (Borneo) and West of Mindanoa Island. Pontianak is dubbed the "Equatorial City" because of its position through the equator line. While Zamboanga City is dubbed the "Latin City of Asia", due to the strong influence of Spain. *Video from many sources
Davao and Makassar are the most developed cities in the Philippines and Indonesia. Both become economic, cultural and educational centers. The two cities are very interesting to visit. The Davao City is south of the Philippines on the Mindanao Island. While the city of Makassar is the main city in Eastern Indonesia, on the island of Sulawesi. *Video from many sources
This here is a "real" seafood market, a wet market. We have versions of these in the United States but nothing beats the real thing, now does it? The fish is fresh, the people are happy and everything is vibrant. Does it get any better than this?
Well we have finally got a shopping mall to be proud of here in Iligan City with the arrival of "Robinsons Place" We have waited a very long time for something like this to come to Iligan City, and i have been saying for a long time now that Iligan City is a city very much on the up, as many new businesses are opening here on a daily basis, and this Mall is already getting many people coming through the doors, and it only opened on Wednesday.. When i went to Cebu City and visited the SM seaside mall, which is the 6th largest shopping mall in the world, i said then that if this mall was in iligan City it would be full, because the seaside mall as grand as it is, was almost empty on a Saturday afternoon.. Our Robinsons Mall here in Iligan City also has a large hotel, and at one point i will ...

Explored the rest of the island and it's history. Don't take anything for granted accurate about what I say about the the history as I'm just a tourist there. Sailed the ocean with local fishermen for couple of hours. Arriving in Surigao I met a local that took me to his home and spent the golden hour together at a beach close to the city. Only there to capture dozens of boats sailing to their home during a epic sunset. ▼▼My Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/finn.snow/ ▼▼My Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FinnSnowVlog/ ▼▼Support me here while growing; https://www.patreon.com/finnsnow
Adto Nako sa "Atchup Boulevard"… Well not only did I go to atchup boulevard, but my #BecomingFilipino journey had me going all around the city of Davao! What a great city it is! So well kept, full of helpful, friendly, happy people :) From checking out the National Philippine Eagle, to eating so many delicious tropical fruits, and "hanging out with the people" in People's Park! This is literally only a small taste of my first trip to Davao. I will be coming back again as part of my Regional Journey…. I have literally only experienced a little bit of what this city has to offer! Super Apir Davao!
